Clutch Worcester Concert reviews
Clutch was delayed but great as usual!
Clutch at the 9:30 is about as iconic a show as you can have since the band is from just up the way. My fourth time seeing them live and it just keeps getting better. The set list spanned nearly all of their albums and there were numerous crowd favorites throughout. Fans young and old knew every word to each song and the atmosphere of the club was great. Clutch have an energy that does not stop. If you haven’t seen them live but some tickets asap.
Stöner and support act Nate Bergman featuring Tabora Bond (??) were very good.
The 9:30 Club staff enforced COVID-19 vaccination proof just as people got into line to make entry more efficient. Staff also enforced masking up, when you are not actively drinking. What that looks like in practice is someone holding their beer and mask down, after a few seconds, was approached and advised to mask up or leave. Also there is no recording / streaming allowed which is a good policy to be fair to the artists’ ability to control what’s put out about the concert, and also letting people just try to enjoy the concert without phones in their way.
